Upcoming Children's Activities MARK your CALENDARS for 2012's Vacation Bible School: AMAZING WONDERS AVIATION: Encountering God’s Awesome Power July 16-20. See lives changed as kids tour some of the world’s most marvelous natural wonders & encounter God like never before. As kids explore Psalm 147: 5, they’ll recognize God’s power over all things, trust that God is always in control, accept God’s gift of forgiveness, celebrate that Jesus is alive, & learn to rely on God’s power. AWANA: WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, 6:20 - 8:00 pmfor age 3 thru grade 5 The goal of AWANA is to give boys & girls the chance to know, love, & serve God. They will learn & have fun thru Game Time, Handbook Time, & Council Time.
May 2 - TEACHER APPRECIATION NITE Regular Youth Activities
SUNDAY: The youth meet at 9:30 am for praise, and at 9:50 am they split into separate classes for young men and women in grades 6-8 and 9-12, using Student Life curriculum focusing on the New Testament Church, with daily devotions and scripture memory. “Reach-N-Out” meets at 4:00 pm. At 4:30 pm, we have “Fuel” Bible Study, indepth discipleship training for teens. At 6:00 pm, the youth attend Actors for Christ, where they learn the Word of God and how to express it through drama.WEDNESDAY: Bible study for grades 6-12, 6:20pm Other Youth Activities throughout the year include: Christian Service Projects, Bible Studies, Local and Foreign Mission Trips, Lock-Ins, Christian Concerts, Studentz Summer Camp, Vacation Bible School, Youth Sunday, outreach and visitation. Regular Children's Activities ![]() SUNDAY: Sunday School begins at 9:45 am, with separate classes for ages 1, 2-3, 4-5; Grades K, 1&2, 3, 4&5. At 10:55, ages 4&5 can attend separate Wee Ministry classes; while children in grades 1-5 attend Kids Worship in the Chapel. “God’s Kidz” Children’s Choir meets on Sunday afternoon at 6:00 pm. WEDNESDAY night: Ages 3 thru grade 5 attend AWANA, (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - a Bible-based Christ-centered program which incorporates Scripture memorization, games, and rewards) at 6:20 pm. They also have weekly activities and special theme nights. Other Children’s Activities throughout the year include: Trunk or Treat, trips to the zoo, ice skating, CentriKid Camp, pool parties, Vacation Bible School, and much, much more. | ||
